FAQs

  • Tis a Renaissance Faire wedding, and we have a whole page dedicated to guide you on what to wear! Check it out here! If you choose not to dress for the theme, you can wear something semi-formal.

  • We have secured a discounted guest room block at the Residence Inn Old Henry hotel - check out our travel page on where to stay!

  • No— while we love your little ones, only children in the Wedding Court will be invited to our wedding. Thank you for understanding!

  • Since our wedding is at the beginning of cold and flu season, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking a COVID-19 and flu test before traveling and attending. We might have a medieval theme, but we don’t want to spread a plague, thanks!

  • Yes! Unless we have extreme weather, the ceremony will be outside, and the reception is under a pavilion. Since the wedding is at the end of October, we are hoping for crisp fall weather, but check the weather leading up to the wedding just in case!

  • Yes, our caterers have been amazing at working with us for many food sensitivities and allergies! You’ll be able to give us food details when you RSVP.

  • We will organize transportation to and from the venue from the Residence Inn Old Henry (the hotel where we secured a guest room block); otherwise, parking is available at the venue.

  • There is a parking lot at Yew Dell, or you can go to the Residence Inn Old Henry, where we secured guest room blocks, and get transportation to and from the venue from there!

  • PLEASE do not take photos during our wedding ceremony— we have paid a very talented photographer to do her job. After that, go for it!! We’d love to see any photos you take in the time before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and during the reception!

  • 11 PM with last call at 10:30 PM.

We eagerly await the pleasure of thy company come the fair month of October.

Until then, good morrow!
